Cookie Policy
NeuraRank uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember necessary choices and improve the visitor experience where applicable.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on a visitor's device by a website. They can help a website function, remember a preference, maintain a session or measure how a site is used.
Similar technologies include browser storage. This policy covers those technologies when they perform a similar role on the NeuraRank website.
2. How NeuraRank uses cookies
NeuraRank uses a necessary cookie to remember your cookie choice. When you request the website audit, a necessary session cookie allows your report and any follow-up questions to remain available in the same browser for up to 30 days. Where a visitor changes the available display preference, browser storage may also remember the selected theme.
Sign-in cookies may be used where a visitor signs in to a protected part of the website. These are not used to track ordinary visitors.
With appropriate consent, the public website can use a first-party analytics service to record aggregate page views, traffic sources and selected conversion actions. No advertising pixel, retargeting technology or cross-site tracking tool is used.
3. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary technologies
These support the website or a requested service. They include the saved cookie choice and sign-in session cookies where required.
Functional technologies
The site can use browser storage to remember a display theme preference if that preference is changed. This is not used for analytics, advertising or profiling.
Analytics / performance technologies
Where analytics consent is given, NeuraRank uses first-party browser storage and event records to understand aggregate traffic, page interest, broad device type and selected enquiry actions. Analytics is not loaded before consent and is not used to record form contents, passwords, raw IP addresses or individual profiles.
Marketing / advertising technologies
NeuraRank does not currently use advertising pixels, retargeting or cross-site marketing technologies.
4. Cookie list
The list below records the current cookies and similar technologies. The audit-session cookie is set only when you request an audit; analytics entries apply only after analytics consent; authentication entries apply only when you sign in to a restricted area.
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie consent preference | NeuraRank | Stores the visitor's consent choice so the notice does not reappear unnecessarily. | Strictly necessary | 1 year, or until the visitor changes the choice or clears cookies. |
| Website audit session | NeuraRank | Keeps an audit report and any follow-up questions available to the same browser session. | Strictly necessary, when an audit is requested | 30 days |
| Theme preference | NeuraRank website | Remembers the display theme preference when a theme is changed. | Functional | Until the visitor clears browser storage. |
| Authenticated session cookie(s) | Supabase | Maintains a secure authenticated session where sign-in is required. | Strictly necessary | While the sign-in session remains active, as managed by Supabase. |
| Analytics visitor identifier | NeuraRank website | Recognises a returning browser for aggregate visitor reporting after analytics consent. | Analytics / performance | Until the visitor clears browser storage or withdraws analytics consent. |
| Analytics session identifier | NeuraRank website | Groups page views and selected actions into an aggregate visit. | Analytics / performance | Browser session. |
| First-party analytics event record | NeuraRank database | Stores aggregate page views, selected CTA actions, successful form events and broad source/device information for the private dashboard. | Analytics / performance | Retention period is not yet configured; owner confirmation is required. |
No third-party analytics or marketing entries are listed because the current implementation uses no external analytics or advertising provider.
5. Third-party cookies
No third-party analytics, advertising or social-media cookies are currently integrated into the public NeuraRank pages.
Supabase may set session cookies when sign-in is required to maintain a secure authenticated session. Stripe is available as a server-side payment integration; if a visitor is sent to Stripe's hosted checkout, Stripe may use its own necessary technologies on that hosted service.
Third-party services control their own technologies on their services. Their use is governed by their own privacy information as well as this policy where it applies to NeuraRank pages.
6. Managing cookie preferences
The cookie notice lets you accept all currently available categories, reject non-essential technologies, or review your choices. Analytics remains off unless you choose to enable it.
You can reopen the controls at any time using the button below or the Cookie Settings link in the website footer.
7. Browser controls
You can also use your browser settings to view, delete or block cookies and local storage. Browser controls are separate from the NeuraRank preference controls and may affect necessary functionality, sign-in sessions or preferences.
For the clearest choice about NeuraRank's optional technologies, use the website controls first.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
NeuraRank may update this policy if the website, consent controls, cookies, browser storage or third-party services change. The latest version will be published on this page with a new update date.
